Grandmaster Young Ku Yun is a legendary martial artist and visionary teacher whose career spans over six decades. He began his martial arts journey in the Korean Army in the 1960s, establishing his first Tae Kwon Do club in 1964. By 1966, he became an International Tae Kwon Do Federation (ITF) Instructor, playing a pivotal role in expanding Tae Kwon Do across Asia and Oceania, including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Western Samoa, and the Cook Islands. In 1987, Grandmaster Yun resigned from the ITF to develop a more holistic martial arts system, culminating in the creation of Yun Jung Do in 1990.
